What began with the SIS Group of Schools has flourished into a network of 15 schools across Southeast Asia. Building on this success, Inspirasi Schools has embarked on a journey of expansion, striving to bring quality education to even more communities.
From humble beginnings as the son of a security guard in Singapore, our founder, Jaspal Sidhu, has demonstrated that a vision rooted in determination and compassion can transform lives. His remarkable journey took a pivotal turn in Bengkulu, Indonesia, where his career in mining was interrupted by a life-changing accident.
During his recovery, Jaspal observed children attending modest schools with joy and enthusiasm despite limited resources. This experience deeply moved him and ignited his resolve to address the inequities in the education system, where access to high-quality education often comes at a prohibitive cost.
Motivated by this purpose, Jaspal envisioned schools that deliver exceptional education at an affordable price. Through an innovative and sustainable model, revenues from successful schools are reinvested to establish new ones, broadening access to quality education for children across the country.
Today, Inspirasi Schools embody his vision, offering students an inspiring and empowering learning environment. Jaspal Sidhu’s extraordinary story continues to inspire, shining as a beacon of hope for equitable and transformative education in Indonesia and beyond.
